Kathy is a trained mediator and is also a certified Guardian ad Litem in Stark and Carroll Counties. She has served on various committees and task forces within the Ohio State Bar Association, and currently serves as Chair of the Solo Small Firms and General Practice Section of the OSBA. In addition, she is a Fellow in the Ohio State Bar Foundation. Attorney Stoneman is a former board member and previous chairman of the Carroll County Foundation, is a member of the Carroll County Board of the American Cancer Society, and is a member of the Estate Planning Committee of the Stark Community Foundation
Kathy is also a member of Wealth Counsel.
About Stoneman Law Office
Stoneman Law Office Co, LPA consists of two attorneys, Kathleen (Kathy) Allmon Stoneman and her daughter, Maureen E. Stoneman, making the firm the first mother/daughter law firm in Carroll County. They continue the long and proud tradition of their father and grandfather, respectively, the Honorable William T. Allmon, who opened his law office in Carrollton in 1950 and served Carroll County as an attorney and judge for over 50 years. It is in his memory and in his honor that Stoneman Law Office Co, LPA was established.
Attorney Kathy Stoneman is a graduate of Carrollton High School and graduated summa cum laude from Mount Union College (now the University of Mount Union) in Alliance, Ohio and the University of Akron School of Law. She has been licensed to practice law in Ohio since 1982 and has been actively engaged in the practice of law in Ohio for over thirty years. She is also licensed to practice law in Oregon.
Attorney Maureen Stoneman is also a graduate of Carrollton High School and graduated magna cum laude from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio and the Catholic University, Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C. Following law school, Maureen spent two years clerking for the Honorable John M. Mott in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. She is also licensed to practice law in Virginia.
